Jeff Sopp
Mr. Sopp is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Kensington Hill Partners. Kensington Hill Partners specializes in Board Advisory Services, Business Consulting, and Equity Investments including leading-edge technology, InsurTech, QSR’s – quick-serve restaurants, real estate, and others throughout the U.S.
Mr. Sopp’s in-depth Board of Director service(s) has been developed over many years with various sized companies across the U.S. Companies such as Nationwide Bank, Nationwide Insurance, Kokosing Inc., Burns & Scalo, ODW Logistics, and Bold Penguin to name a few. Serving as chairman, lead director, or board member, Mr. Sopp assists the board of directors and advisory boards with strategy, member selection, and meeting cadence as well as overall board/company governance. As a member of NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors), Mr. Sopp is on the leading edge of the board’s most current responsibilities and up-to-date best practices in all phases of an organization. Mr. Sopp has developed a client-focused approach to ensure the total client satisfaction while creating end-to-end solutions and providing maximum return on investment for all stakeholders.
Additionally, Mr. Sopp was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for “Realizing Business Potential” and was a Finalist for the National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In addition, Expesite’s corporate philanthropy program was awarded the 2010 Pillar Award presented by Smart Business Magazine and 2010 Corporate Caring Award presented by Columbus Business First.
Mr. Sopp enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, flying, and scuba diving. Mr. Sopp and his wife reside in Columbus, Ohio.
Michael Rayden
As CEO of Justice for over 17 years, Michael Rayden took the company public in 1999 and merged with Ascena in November 2009. Mike retired from Ascena in January 2015.
Prior to Justice, Mike was CEO and Chairman of the Board for Pacific Sunwear of California for almost 7 years, taking it public in 1993.
Prior to Pacific Sunwear of California, Mike was President and COO of the Striderite Corporation for 3 years and CEO of Eddie Bauer (a division of General Mills) for 3 years.
Mike started his career in 1971 as a member of Macy's training squad. In 1980, he moved to Federated Department Stores where he was promoted to GMM of their Lazarus Division in Columbus, Ohio. Mike also spent time at Spiegel Catalog and Liz Claiborne.
Mike is married with 4 grown children including Justice, his daughter for whom the company was named; and he has one granddaughter who is already an avid customer of Justice.
Mike has recently served on the board for the Columbus College of Art & Design, Pet People, and Perry Ellis International. Mike’s wife, Diane Nye, is an active board member for the Ohio State James Cancer Hospital.
Mike and Diane are residents of New Albany, Ohio.
Jody Davids
Jody Davids recently retired from her role as Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer of PepsiCo. In its global portfolio of food and beverage brands, PepsiCo has 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. With net revenues of over $63 billion, PepsiCo’s main businesses also make hundreds of other foods and beverages that are respected household names throughout the world.
As the leader of the IT function at PepsiCo, Jody was responsible for delivering all information technology and digital services to PepsiCo through a large network of IT associates and partners worldwide.
Jody has over 40 years of experience leading and developing technology for large organizations. Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2016, Jody was CIO for Agrium Inc. and over the course of her career, she has led at Best Buy, Cardinal Health, Nike, and Apple.
Jody’s professional associations include serving on the board of directors for Premier Inc., which provides performance improvement services to hospitals and other healthcare organizations. She also serves on the board for The Eyes of Freedom, a non-profit organization honoring all who have answered our nation’s call to service. Jody earned a bachelor’s degree and MBA from San Jose State University. She currently resides in New Albany, OH.
