Are you ready for the end of Flash?

Training & Development Tip of the Week

If you have any Flash courses, or if you're not sure, here are the steps you should be taking to avoid any downtown for your eLearning courses:

1. Take an inventory.

Understand what you have and where it is. If you have a centralize LMS, you may be able to save a lot of time on this step by exporting this list from your LMS>

This course update tracking template from Articulate's Elearning Heroes community will help you take inventory of what you've got and what needs updating.

2. Review your courses.

Identify which courses depend on Flash. This may also be an opportunity to identify any other updates like content edits, etc.

3. Get a game plan.

Some might need to be retired and some may be able to survive untouched. If you have a lot of eLearning courses you may need to prioritize them based on usage, importance, etc. Even then you may not have the bandwidth and might need to call in some extra help. (We can help you with that.)

4. Put your plan into action.

Convert, republish, refresh, remove, or redesign your courses as necessary.
